So my friend Kerie asked for my help to teach her the basics of sewing and come up with a design for her friend for a tote bag made from her old T-Shirts. Not only is this an awesome green idea, but it was fairly simple to do.
We ended up sewing up all the holes in two different T-Shirts, using the sleeves to flip over on either side to give a shirt effect still and then made straps out of... you guessed it... more t-shirts!!!!
I am going to have to start getting more tutorials up here with sewing projects... Yay for fun sewing projects :).
