Circle Skirts

Tomorrow I am going to make a circle skirt. I am thinking about making an interesting waistband so it's slightly retro. We'll see how they turn out...

I also need to start researching for my sister's veil. There's no timeline yet, but it would be nice if she could try it on in Nov with her second dress fitting. We'll see if I can make that happen. :)

Shabby Chic Bookmarks

So I finally put up my jewelry box from over a year ago now on Etsy and decided I needed something else to put up there so it wouldn't be the only thing. It just seemed too tragic.

What did I end  up making? Bookmarks! It made me really sad that I threw out all my extra fabric in Chicago, at first, but I think they turned out really well. I can't wait to make my two circle skirts and have the remnants of that to make more bookmarks. This finding projects that are fast and easy idea was brilliant.
